We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Resident Wellbeing Assistants to join our team on a casual basis at our Footscray Residential Aged Care Facility.

n

Our home specialises in supporting residents from the Vietnamese and Chinese communities, so fluency in Vietnamese and/or Chinese will be highly regarded.

n

The Chance

n

Reporting to the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will support residents' social, emotional, cultural, physical, and spiritual wellbeing through engaging activities and meaningful interactions.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Deliver person-centred care and emotional support.
n
Assist with lifestyle programs, activities, and community engagement.
n
Encourage resident independence, choice, and wellbeing.
n
Support residents in accordance with care plans and Aged Care Quality Standards.
n




Maintain accurate documentation and resident records.
n
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and welcoming workplace.
n
Qualification in Leisure & Health, Diversional Therapy, Individual Support, Ageing
n
Support, Recreation, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
n
Experience in aged care, disability, community care, or lifestyle/wellbeing programs.
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
n
Current National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
n
Ability to speak Vietnamese and/or Chinese.
n
Dementia care knowledge or experience.
n
Current First Aid Certificate.
n
Victorian Driver's Licence (where required).
n
