Lawyer - Open House Conveyancing & Wollongong City Lawyers

We want to hear from conveyancers or property lawyers with a keen eye for detail and passion of delivering exceptional client outcomes!

We are seeking a conveyancer or property lawyer to join our team on a permanent, full time basis.
n
We are a highly regarded law firm in Wollongong, specialising in conveyancing and property law matters across NSW and ACT.
n

The conveyancing work will be varied and will include residential conveyancing, commercial conveyancing and leases, lease-hold properties, transfer of perpetual leases and water entitlements, Crown Land permits and licences.

Key responsibilities:
n
n
Day to day running of conveyancing files
n
Review contracts and prepare transparent, technically sound advice for clients
n
Prepare contracts and legal correspondence
n




Prepare and register legal documents including transfers and transmission applications using PEXA and NSW Land Registry Services
n
Manage settlements and complete transactions in PEXA, including handling payment arrangements and issuing settlement instructions
n
Liaise with a broad range of stakeholders including banks, financial institutions, private lenders, real estate agents, and caveators to ensure the timely progression and settlement of matters
n
Providing general administrative support, contributing to the efficiency of the team and assisting with ad hoc tasks
n
Providing direct support to the Principal Solicitor and other senior staff as required
n
n
We're looking for a person with:

n
Excellent communication skills with a focus on building strong client relationships
n
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
n
Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
n
Experience with PEXA
n
Experience in conducting ACT conveyancing matters will be highly regarded but not essential
