Job Description
Monadelphous is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Lead to join our PNG team, based in the Brisbane office. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with international travel required.

Reporting to the Eastern Region Quality and Welding Manager, this position will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Monadelphous Quality Management policy, system, and strategies across PNG with a particular focus on fabrication and major projects.

What you will bring:
n
n
Previous experience working in the Energy, Mining, Non-Process infrastructure and resources sectors leading a multidisciplinary Quality team
n
Tertiary qualification in engineering and/ or post-trade technical qualification such as AS **** Certificate 10 Welding / IIW International Welding Specialist or higher are essential
n
Quality certifications such as AOQ Certified Quality Practitioner or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer highly regarded
n
Experience in subcontracted fabrication surveillance including inspections and the proven ability to ensure progressive verification is realised
n
In depth knowledge and experience in quality related root cause investigations and leading the corrective action close out process
n
Functional experience in the development of product verification documentation such as work packs, ITP's and ITR's
n
An in depth understanding of quality systems, processes, audits and general requirements for the construction and maintenance industries.

Confident user of MS Office Suite, with previous experience working in SAP or Maximo (highly regarded).

Well-developed communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey quality principles at all levels of an organisation.

A motivated and proactive approach to quality engagement, management and reporting.

The ability to obtain relevant information, identify key issues and relationships, compare data from different sources and identify cause-effect relationships.

A clear commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
