Job Description
Laundy Hotels is seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager / Licensee to lead the team at The Lennox Hotel.
n
Perfectly positioned in one of the Northern Rivers' most iconic beachside locations, The Lennox Hotel brings together locals, visitors, live music, fresh food, genuine hospitality and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. n We are looking for a confident operator who can lead from the front, drive performance, develop teams and deliver an exceptional customer experience across all areas of the business.

About the role
n
n
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel across food and beverage, gaming, events, live entertainment, security, maintenance and customer service.
n
Act as the venue Licensee, ensuring compliance with liquor licensing obligations, RSA requirements, company policies and all relevant legislation.
n
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, with a focus on culture, accountability, training and succession planning.
n
Drive financial performance through strong budgeting, cost control, rostering, stock management and labour management.
n
Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain strong relationships with locals, regulars and the wider Lennox Head community.
n
Work closely with support office teams across operations, marketing, finance, HR and events to achieve venue objectives.
n
Identify opportunities to grow revenue, improve service standards and enhance the overall venue offering.
n
Ensure the venue is presented, maintained and operated to a consistently high standard.

About you
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong operational leadership experience within a busy hospitality workplace, together with a genuine passion for people, service and community.
n
n
Previous experience as a General Manager, Venue Manager or Licensee within a pub, hotel or large hospitality venue.
n
Strong understanding of liquor licensing, RSA, compliance, venue safety and responsible service obligations.
n
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop large teams in a fast-paced environment.
n
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, rostering, wage control, reporting and revenue management.
n
Hands-on leadership style with excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
n
Experience across food and beverage, gaming, events, entertainment and high-volume venue operations.
n
Current RSA and RCG are required.
n
Current NSW Licensee training is required.
n
Advanced Licensee certification is desirable.
