As a privacy lawyer, you will need to:
Have a minimum of 5 years PQE in-house or in private practice
Provide legal advice on privacy and data protection laws across Australia
Review and negotiate privacy and data-related contractual terms with suppliers, customers and partners
Advise on data collection, use, disclosure,



retention and cross-border data transfers
Provide legal support on cyber security incidents, data breaches and regulatory investigations
Support privacy compliance programs and enterprise-wide governance initiatives
