About The Role
The HMO3 Critical Care Resident **** position offers diverse critical care training experiences tailored to individual learning needs. We have one position available with the following rotations: Term 1: leave/cover Term2&3: ICU 6 Months Term 4: Hamilton ED. The UHG FACEMs visit Hamilton Base Hospital on a monthly basis and are available weekly to review and discuss cases.
Key responsibilities
Provide safe, high-quality clinical care in critical care and emergency settings
Participate in supervised rotations across ICU, Anaesthetics, Emergency Medicine and other core terms
Engage in ongoing professional development, education and training activities
Contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team workplace
What we're looking for
Registration with AHPRA
Minimum PGY3 level clinical experience
Strong commitment to critical care and emergency medicine training
Excellent communication, teamwork and professional conduct skills
