Mayflower is seeking a cooperative and forward-thinking Quality and Capability Manager to lead and provide strategic and operational leadership for Mayflower's Quality Assurance, Clinical Governance, Workforce Capability, Learning & Development, Continuous Improvement and Regulatory Compliance programs across Residential Aged Care and Corporate Services.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Executive General Manager Quality & Safety, the Quality and Capability Manager is responsible for leading organisational quality systems, clinical governance, education and workforce capability frameworks, accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement and governance reporting.
n
Working closely with operational leaders, you will drive audit and accreditation readiness, oversee incident and complaints governance, coordinate quality reporting, and support the implementation of the Aged Care Act **** and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
You will play a pivotal role in embedding a culture of quality, safety, leading the development and ongoing maturity of Mayflower Academy, establishing a contemporary organisational learning culture that promotes workforce capability, accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead Mayflower's quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement programs.
n
Coordinate internal audits, accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance activities.
n
Oversee incident, complaints and risk management systems, identifying trends and driving improvement initiatives.
n
Prepare and present quality, risk and governance reports to Executive, Board Committees and organisational leaders.
n
Provide expert advice and support to operational leaders on quality, compliance and clinical governance matters.
n
Support the implementation of the Clinical Governance Framework and Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
n
Ensure mandatory education programs meet legislative and regulatory requirements.
n
Maintain organisational compliance with mandatory training obligations.
n
Develop mitigation strategies through targeted education.
n
Monitor competency-related organisational risks.
n
Build capability across the organisation by fostering a culture of learning, accountability and continuous improvement.
n

About You
n
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
n
Postgraduate qualification in Quality, Clinical Governance,
Health Management, Leadership, Education or a related discipline.
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****) or equivalent adult education qualification.
n
Demonstrated experience in quality, governance, accreditation or clinical risk management within aged care or a related healthcare setting.
n
Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and contemporary clinical governance principles.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build positive working relationships.
n
Experience leading audits, quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance programs.
n
A collaborative and proactive approach, with strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
n
Proven experience developing and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), organisational learning frameworks and contemporary eLearning solutions.
n
Exceptional leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence leaders and build a culture of accountability, continuous learning and quality improvement.
