I am currently seeking a Junior Safety Advisor to join a well-established national builder with a strong reputation across Australia and a secure pipeline of projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their Safety career, or a construction professional looking to transition from a trade into a dedicated HSE role.

The Role
n
You will be based on a luxury residential development on the Sunshine Coast, working alongside an experienced project and HSE team.
n
This role will provide excellent exposure to all areas of site safety while giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and build a long-term career within a major national builder.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
n
Support site inductions, toolbox talks and safety training.
n
Assist with the implementation and ongoing improvement of WHS systems and procedures.
n
Work closely with subcontractors and the project team to promote positive safety outcomes.
n
Assist with ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, company standards and project requirements.
n
Develop your understanding of high-risk construction activities and safety processes.
n

About You
n
n
Cert IV in Work Health & Safety is required.
n
Ideally some experience in a Safety/HSE role, however candidates at the beginning of their Safety career will be considered.
n
Open to candidates transitioning from a trade background into Safety.
n
Previous construction experience is highly regarded.
n
Robust communication skills and a willingness to learn.
n
Practical, proactive and hands-on approach.
n
Genuine interest in developing a long-term career in HSE.
n
