This full-time opportunity operates Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, leading our manufacturing and contract packing operations in Rocklea.

This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring someone who is ready to step in, support the team on the ground, and lead by example in a rapid-paced environment. Please note, this is an onsite position only, with no remote work available.

A key aspect of this role is driving business growth by leading manufacturing and production initiatives while supporting NDIS-funded employment outcomes. You will be creating and promoting both vocational and non-vocational opportunities, with a commitment to empowering our supported workforce to achieve their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of around 60 employees, including Supported Employees, Job Coaches, and production staff
n
Take a practical, hands-on approach to daily operations and team leadership
n
Oversee contract packing operations to meet customer expectations
n
Manage inventory scheduling, workflow, and staffing rosters
n
Foster a continuous improvement culture using Lean Manufacturing principles
n
Ensure all tasks meet customer-driven quality assurance standards
n

About You

n

n
Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or warehousing
n
A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to "dive in" and support the team when needed
n
Skilled in rostering, timesheets, and general administration
n
Solid ability to prioritise and respond to fast changing needs
n
Explicit and concise communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with people of all abilities, backgrounds, and support needs
n

Requirements

Manufacturing & Leadership experience
n
Paid Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening - or be willing to obtain
n
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate - or be willing to obtain
n
Current forklift licence with demonstrated ability to operate safely and efficiently
