Pool lifeguard - Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre

The City of Onkaparinga operates the Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre (NARC), a leading community facility in southern Adelaide. Each year, we welcome around 300,000 visitors.

The centre includes a 25m lap and program pool, a family pool, a fully equipped gym, squash courts, multi-purpose sports courts and a busy kiosk. We support everything from everyday recreation to major regional events. We are a welcoming, inclusive and skilled workplace. We support our people to grow, build their skills and deliver great experiences for our community.

About the role

n

As a pool lifeguard, you help create a secure and welcoming aquatic environment. You monitor pool areas and respond to incidents when needed.

Key responsibilities

supervise pool areas using active scanning

enforce pool rules and educate patrons
n
respond to emergencies and perform rescues
n
maintain cleanliness and safety standards
n
provide friendly customer service
n

Qualifications and requirements

You must hold or be willing to obtain:

Pool Lifeguard Certificate
n
Provide First Aid and CPR
n
Working with Children Check
n
National Police Check
n
Child Secure Environments training
n
