You'll be a valued member of the Oral Health leadership team, providing operational coordination, professional support, and clinical expertise across our service.

Lead and support the Dental Assistant workforce through mentoring, workforce planning, rostering, recruitment, and professional development.
n
Coordinate key operational activities including outreach services, travel arrangements, procurement, inventory management, and resource allocation.
n
Provide high-quality chairside and clinical dental assisting support across a range of oral health services and treatment settings.

Requirements
n
n
Possession of a Certificate III in Dental Assisting from a registered training organisation (RTO) or other recognised tertiary institution is mandatory for this role.
n




Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act **** requires Queensland Health to seek a 'working with children check; from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
n
Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act **** and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate. Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
n
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
n
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.

A period of probation may apply.
