The Opportunity
A well-established residential builder is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Quality & Compliance function on a major Sydney construction project. This is a chance to work on a large-scale, technically complex build within a business known for delivering high-quality residential outcomes across the city.
Reporting to the Project Manager , you'll play a key technical coordination role, bridging design, construction and subcontractor delivery to ensure the project is built right, on time, and to a high standard.
The Business
Our client is a respected name in Sydney's residential construction sector, with a track record delivering major projects from a tier 1-2 environment. They have a stable, experienced leadership team and a genuine pipeline of large-scale work ahead, this isn't a one-project role, it's a platform for long-term growth with a serious builder. Key Responsibilities
Manage delivery of project scope,



quality and safety requirements
Oversee quality management systems and documentation
Provide technical coordination between design, construction and subcontractors
Maintain project documentation. Progress reports, risk assessments, plans
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including DBPA requirements
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
Identify and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution
Report project status to PM and contribute to ongoing meetings
Experience Required
Tertiary qualification in Building/Construction Management or Civil Engineering
Experience in a similar role on major building projects, ideally tier 1-2
Strong understanding of quality/compliance frameworks
Residential construction background
Jobpac experience
Proven track record on large-scale structures
