North and South Brisbane

Bayside
n
Sunshine Coast
n
Gold Coast with a high emphasis around the Tweed area that can cross the border for northern NSW works.

About us

Grounded Electrical Pty Ltd are a major player in the electrical smart metering industry in SEQLD and are now looking at recruitment throughout the region of current installers, experienced installers as well as sub contractors.
n
Grounded with it's direct relationships with partners such as energy retailers, embedded network managers, meter providers and energy consultants has seen a major increase in construction of meter panels and the installation of new, as well as churn out of existing meters on existing installations for new. We need an immediate start in some areas.

Qualifications & experience
n
If new to metering, then we understand some experience will be missing, we are here to help fill the gaps during the recruitment process to ensure immediate start can be achieved.
n
Current Drivers Licence
n
OHS Construction White Card
n
Electrical Licence QLD or other states electrical licence with mutual recognition granted
n
National Police Check (within the last 1 year)
n




Working with Children licence WWC blue card
n
Eligibility to work in Australia
n
Current CPR, LVR and First Aid Qualifications
n
Smart Meter Course UEENEEG171A or UETTDRUS60A completed. If not completed, you have a background in or solid understanding of AS**** & Energex's Queensland Electricity Connection Manual (QECM) Version 4 and the Competitive Metering Industry Group's - Metering Installation Requirements (MIRS) Version 2.1 metering compliance.

Tasks & responsibilities
n
Install, Maintain, Exchange Electrical Smart Meters
n
Upgrading Communications to Electrical Smart Meters
n
Investigation and Rectification of Electrical Smart Meters
n
Adhere and comply to all Health Safety and Environmental procedures under the contract
n
Maintain Vehicle, Test equipment, tools and stock
n
Testing of the Network Connection up to the Smart Meter
n
Install of new meter panels, main switch boards and metering infrastructure
n
Wiring of main switchboards and meter panels
n
Full time employment in a long term secured contract
n
Training and support to get you metering safely into the new role
n
Work in your local area and in SEQLD region
n
Uniforms, Phone and data + vehicle included
n
The chance to travel for Central and North QLD work from time to time as well as Northern NSW
