Afternoon Shift Laser Operator
, making this ideal for candidates who prefer afternoon/evening work.
Morning Shift opportunities are also available
for candidates who prefer standard daytime hours.
You'll join an experienced production team working across a variety of sheet metal and manufacturing projects, with a strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency.

About the Role
As a Laser Operator,
you'll be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality components to customer and production requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating CNC laser cutting machinery.
Loading and unloading sheet metal.
Setting up machines and selecting appropriate programs.
Monitoring cutting processes and machine performance.
Performing quality checks on finished components.Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Identifying and reporting any quality or production issues.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
Working closely with the production and programming teams.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience operating a
CNC laser cutting machine
.
Experience within sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
A reliable and hardworking attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with
TRUMPF, LVD or similar CNC laser equipment
will be highly regarded.
Afternoon Shift is preferred, however morning shift opportunities are also available.
