Burndy Cable Support Systems is a leading supplier of cable support and electrical infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Warehouse Storeperson to join our Brisbane team based in Acacia Ridge.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced warehouse professional who takes pride in accurate work, safe practices, and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and Queensland Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products while maintaining a secure and organised warehouse environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming goods
n
Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
n
Safe loading, unloading, and load restraint practices
n
Forklift operation and daily pre-start inspections
n
Accurate completion of warehouse documentation and system entries
n
Reporting damaged goods and inventory discrepancies
n
Assisting with delivery paperwork and dispatch requirements
n
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse
n
Supporting the wider team to ensure customer orders are delivered on time

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
n
Experience in warehouse operations and logistics
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Good computer literacy and administrative skills
n
Current driver's licence
n
Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks and lift up to 20kg
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
n
Desired Skills
n
n
Experience with receipting, dispatch, and inventory procedures
n
Knowledge of load restraint and protected loading practices
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude
n
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
n
