We are a family-owned and operated Montessori Long Daycare Centre located in Burpengary, Queensland. Our purpose-built facility, established in August ****, is dedicated to nurturing children's development through the Montessori philosophy. We cater to children aged 6 months to school age across our Nido, Infant, and Children's House communities.

Our Centre fosters a supportive, cooperative work environment and operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and a two-week closure over Christmas/New Year.

Position Overview
n
We are seeking Assistant Educators to join our Infant Community (15 months to 3-years-olds) or Children's House (30 months to 6 years) in a part-time position requiring availability Monday to Friday between 11:00 am and 5:30 pm.

About You

Requirements
n
n
Minimum 12 months' experience in the early childhood education sector
n
Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or commenced Cert III and considered actively working towards)
n
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check – QLD)
n
Ability to work 5 days a week within our operating hours
n
Genuine passion for children's learning and wellbeing
n




Montessori knowledge or experience (preferred but not essential as you will be provided on‐job Montessori pedagogy training)

Supporting children's independence, concentration, and love of learning through a carefully prepared environment

Building respectful and trusting relationships with children, families, and the team
n
Actively engaging with and supervising children during both indoor and outdoor programs
n
Supporting programs and experiences in line with the Montessori philosophy and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space
n
