Harwood Marine (Polaris Marine Dockyards) is a key division within our group, operating a 3,000T slipway and a 440T travel lift.
We support a wide range of services, including vessel maintenance, refits, current builds and marine salvage & disposal.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Projects Manager for our busy shipyard in Harwood, NSW (near Yamba).
This site-based role suits someone with a solid background in marine vessel dockings and maintenance, construction, or heavy industry project management and a commitment to safe, efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with management on planning and resource allocation
Ensure safe and timely project delivery, meeting compliance standards
Monitor and report on project performance including revenue, margins, and costs
Develop and maintain detailed project management plans
Manage labour, subcontractors,



and materials to meet deadlines and budget targets
Deliver accurate progress reports to internal and external stakeholders
Prepareestimates/schedulesand manage scope for docking and repair projects from quote through to completion
Build strong working relationships across internal teams and with external clients
About You
3+ years' experience in project management or coordination (marine or construction industry preferred)
Experience in shipbuilding, marine maintenance or heavy engineering (highly desirable)
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or related discipline (desirable)
Strong understanding of subcontractor and supplier engagement processes
Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented, professional and solutions-focused approach
