We are currently seeking an experiencedBMS Engineerto join a growing and well-established building automation company servicing projects acrossSydney Metro.
The successful candidate can beSydney or Newcastle based, with all project work located across theSydney Metro area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong BMS professional looking to join a growing business, work on varied projects and take on a key role across BMS design, programming, integration and commissioning.
About the Role As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of building management and automation projects across commercial, industrial and building services environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, programming and configuring BMS and building automation systems
Working withTridium Niagara / Niagara 4
Integrating BMS systems with HVAC and mechanical equipment
Working with BACnet, Modbus and other communications protocols
Developing BMS graphics, alarms, trends and control strategies
Testing, fault finding and commissioning BMS systems
Working with HVAC controls including AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, chillers, pumps and associated equipment
Conducting site inspections and assisting with project planning
Liaising with clients, contractors, technicians and project teams




Preparing technical documentation and project handover information
Providing technical support and troubleshooting when required
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
RelevantEngineering qualification
Previous experience working as aBMS / Controls Engineer
Hands-on Niagara / Niagara 4 experience – essential
Strong understanding of BMS and building automation systems
Experience with HVAC controls and mechanical services
Experience with BMS commissioning and integration
Understanding ofBACnet and/or Modbus
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and understand electrical and control schematics
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
