The current Maitland Hospital is built on the traditional lands of the Wonnarua people. Currently, the Maitland Hospital is a 196 bed facility serving the Lower Hunters' growing population with the current hospital expected to be double the size at 339 beds.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT:

Bed Numbers: 24 Shift times: 10 hour

Staffing levels for each shift time: Day: 7, Evening: 7, Night: 5

n

How much support is provided: 16 FACEMS (FT/PT)

Any other key shift information: Not trauma
