Integration Business Analyst - eCommerce
We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major eCommerce re-platform program, supporting a critical integration stream focused on broader digital commerce capabilities.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a Business Analyst who thrives in fast-paced transformation environments and enjoys working across both business and technology teams.You'll partner closely with stakeholders, architects, developers and vendors to define requirements, document integrations, support delivery and help ensure successful outcomes across a complex ecosystem.
This is an initial 6 month contract based in Melbourne with an opportunity to contribute to a high-profile digital transformation initiative that will have significant business impact.
This is: what you'll doLead requirements gathering activities across business and technology stakeholders
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to define future-state processes and solution outcomes
Document business requirements, system dependencies and integration requirements
Create process maps, business workflows and detailed functional documentation
Develop integration specifications, interface requirements and data mapping artefacts
Collaborate with architects, developers and implementation partners to ensure solution alignment
Support delivery teams through requirements refinement, testing activities and go-live readiness
Maintain traceability between requirements, solution design, testing and delivery outcomes
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, gaps and opportunities across workstreams
Drive high-quality documentation and delivery artefacts within JIRA, Confluence and related platforms

what you'll needExtensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst within large-scale digital transformation programs
Strong background delivering eCommerce, retail or digital commerce initiatives
Proven experience creating integration specifications, interface documentation and data mappings
Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, integration patterns and distributed systems
Experience working with composable commerce environments and modern digital ecosystems
Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical documentation
Experience collaborating with architects, developers, QA teams, product owners and vendors
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency across JIRA, Confluence, Miro, SharePoint and Microsoft 365
Experience with Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft or Azure Integration Services
Exposure to commercetools, Contentstack, Bloomreach or similar platforms
Experience within MACH-based architectures
Multi-brand or multi-site commerce implementation experience
