About the role
n
n
Leading the design and delivery of landscape architecture and urban design projects from concept through to construction.
n
Managing capital works projects, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
n
Preparing landscape designs, plans and technical documentation to a high standard.
n
Providing expert advice on contemporary landscape architecture and urban design principles.
n
Undertaking community and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery.
n
Monitoring project budgets,
timelines and capital works programs.
n
Reviewing design documentation and maintaining high design standards across the team.
n
Mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
n

About you
n
n
Local government experience will be highly regarded.
n
Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
n
A minimum of five years' experience in a senior landscape architecture role.
n
Demonstrated experience delivering parks, streetscapes, open space and public realm projects.
n
Strong project management skills with experience managing consultants and contractors.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Experience working within a local government environment will be highly regarded.
n
