Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Handyman / Maintenance Technician to support electrical and general maintenance across a busy operational facility. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and ensuring workplace infrastructure remains protected, compliant, and fully functional. The position operates Monday to Friday on a 6:00am - 2:00pm shift, with optional weekend overtime available.

Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee routine and reactive maintenance for office buildings and production facilities. This role requires a robust understanding of electrical systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a broader maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Perform routine electrical maintenance across the site
n
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in lighting, power distribution, office equipment, and factory facilities
n
Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with relevant standards
n
Coordinate with contractors, trades,



and internal stakeholders
n
Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and materials used
n
Support general facility upkeep, including minor repairs and installations
n
Assist the broader operations and infrastructure maintenance team
n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
Current Restricted Electrical Ticket (QLD) or current Electrical Licence
n
EWP ticket (desirable)
n
Experience using a maintenance management system such as MEX (highly regarded)
n
Ability to perform physical tasks including manual handling and sustained mobility
n
Previous experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance
n
Strong understanding of safety procedures, compliance, and risk management
n
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
n
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
