Sydney West Kitchens is an established custom cabinetry business with over 11 years of experience delivering premium residential joinery throughout Sydney.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced CabMaster Drafter / Production Detailer to join our team.

n

This is much more than a drafting role. We're looking for someone who understands cabinetry from concept through to manufacture and installation—someone who can take ownership of a project, identify potential issues before they reach the factory, and produce accurate, production-ready documentation.

Your responsibilities

n

Produce accurate production drawings using CabMaster
n
Size and detail kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, bars and custom cabinetry
n
Prepare CNC-ready manufacturing files
n
Select and integrate appliances into cabinetry designs
n
Ensure appliance clearances and manufacturer installation requirements are met
n
Specify hardware including Blum, Hettich and other cabinet fittings
n
Review architectural and interior design plans
n
Identify design, construction and manufacturing issues before production
n
Liaise with project managers, factory staff and installers
n




Assist with estimating and material take-offs where required
n
Maintain high drawing accuracy and documentation standards
n

About you

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
Extensive experience using CabMaster
n
Previous experience in the cabinetry or joinery industry
n
Cabinetmaking or trade experience highly regarded
n
Excellent knowledge of cabinetry construction methods
n
Solid understanding of kitchen appliances and installation requirements
n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
n
Exceptional attention to detail
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
