Secondary School Assistant (Bilingual French & English)
Bilingual School Assistant (French & English) x 5 positions available
Permanent Contract starting on 10/08/2026
Part‐Time position between 15h to 19h per week
Hourly rate at $***** and no need to work during school holidays

As a Bilingual School Assistant within our Vie Scolaire team, you will be the heartbeat of daily school operations.
This is a highly visible, dynamic role where you will ensure a safe, positive, and well‐organized environment for our students.
From the morning gate welcome to afternoon dismissals, you will support teachers, engage with parents, and champion student safety and happiness.
Create a Safe Environment: Monitor and supervise students throughout the school day across key areas, including playgrounds, corridors, the canteen, study periods, and transport gates.
Daily Support: Welcome students warmly, manage playground duties during recess/lunch, and supervise students during exam periods (DST).
First Aid & Care: Administer basic first aid when required, accurately recording and reporting illnesses or injuries with the utmost confidentiality.
Positive Culture: Ensure school rules and regulations are respected, managing minor student conflicts with empathy and fairness.

Cultural & Co‐Curricular Support
Resource Support: Assist with the supervision and daily flow of the Centre de Documentation et d'Information (CDI / Library).
Enrichment: Lend a helping hand during extra‐curricular, cultural, artistic, and sporting activities to help build a thriving school community.
Administration & Communication
The Face of the School: Act as the first point of contact for parents and carers, answering phone calls, handling front‐desk inquiries, and routing communications to the right teams.
Daily Operations: Manage student attendance and absences efficiently using school management software (Pronote).
Logistics: Coordinate daily student flow, assist with IT/maintenance tickets, and prepare for daily events or schedule changes.

Tech‐Savvy: Comfortable utilizing or learning school software (like Pronote) and handling general office administrative tasks.
Safety First: Possession of (or willingness to obtain) a basic First Aid qualification.
Team Player: Ready to collaborate closely with the Dean of Students, teachers, and the broader school community to maintain a calm and structured environment.
