About the Role
n
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of commercial vehicles including trucks, trailers and buses. Working in a fully equipped workshop, you'll carry out high-quality repairs while ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards.

Up to $55.00 per hour casual

Monday to Friday roster with overtime available

7:00am-4:00pm standard hours (6:00am starts available for OT)

Weekend work available when required

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on heavy vehicles
n
Perform servicing, maintenance and preventative repairs
n
Repair and replace suspension, clutch and brake components
n
Complete inspections and identify additional repair requirements
n
Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation
n
Work safely while maintaining a clean and organised workshop
n

About You
n
n
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic
n
Previous experience working on trucks, trailers or buses
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
Experience across a range of American, European and Japanese vehicles (desirable)
n
Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
n
Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
