About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer to join our Employment Law practice.
The role involves providing legal advice and representation to clients across a range of industries, delivering sound legal strategies, drafting documents, and representing clients in various proceedings.
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and representation across industries.
Conduct legal research and analysis to keep clients informed of rights and obligations.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, pleadings and other legal documents.
Represent clients in court, hearings and arbitration.
Negotiate settlements and advise on client business operations.
Keep up to date with legal developments and advise accordingly.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Primary Employment Law focus areas
Industrial Relations and ER matters
Human Rights, Anti‐discrimination & Equal Opportunity
Change Management, Terminations, Restraint of Trade disputes
Workplace investigations and disputes, mediation, and training
Legislative interpretation and workplace health/safety investigations
Contract development, enterprise bargaining and policy advice
Risk management and compliance, crisis management, and sports sector employment
Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws and current practising certificate.
Minimum 4 years practice in Employment Law.
Solid understanding of law and legal procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem‐solving and multitasking skills.
