We're currently seeking an experienced Fluid Power Engineer (Hydraulics Engineer) to join a major industrial project, supporting delivery across multiple workstreams within a complex engineering environment.
n
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for contributing to the design, coordination, and delivery of fluid power systems across key project packages.
n
The Role
n
You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of fluid power engineering components, including:
n
n
Supporting the design, integration, and delivery of hydraulic systems
n
Working across pumps, motors, and industrial equipment
n
Contributing to design reviews, engineering documentation, and technical problem solving
n
Supporting procurement, scheduling, and cost tracking activities
n
Assisting with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
n
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, and operations
n
Ensuring compliance with safety, engineering standards, and project requirements
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n




5-10 years' experience in fluid power / hydraulics engineering
n
A relevant engineering degree or diploma (mechanical, mechatronics or similar)
n
Strong experience working with:
n
Hydraulic systems
n
Pumps and motors
n
Industrial or heavy engineering equipment
n
Experience working on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
n
Ability to work across multiple project areas and disciplines
n
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
n
Nice to Have
n
n
Experience in heavy industrial environments (e.g. steel, mining, manufacturing)
n
Experience with commissioning or construction phases
n
n
