About the role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experiencedSenior Accountantto join their close-knit team.
This is an outstanding chance to manage your own portfolio of loyal, engaged clients within a firm that genuinely invests in its people, its technology and its community.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and review financial accounts and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships




Prepare and review BAS and IAS, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Maintain high-quality, well-documented work papers in line with firm standards
Manage client engagements from start to completion with minimal supervision
Build and maintain strong client relationships as a key point of contact
Support, mentor and review the work of junior accountants
Liaise with the wider team, ATO, banks and solicitors on behalf of clients
Manage workflow effectively within practice management technology to meet deadlines and budgets
Identify process improvements and support the implementation of better systems and efficiencies
Achieve monthly budget and productivity targets
What you'll bring
Relevant degree qualification, CA or CPA qualified
Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing tax returns in Australian public practice
Proficiency in Word and Excel, Xero, XPM and FYI Docs (or similar)
Excellent communication, relationship and team skills
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Flexibility and adaptability to change, professional dedication and initiative
