The Opportunity

As a Senior Business Banking Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business customers, delivering tailored financial solutions and building long-term relationships across a range of industries including professional services, accounting, advisory, construction, commercial property, manufacturing, and more.
n
You will play a key leadership role within the local market, acting as a trusted advisor to customers while collaborating with specialist banking teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Grow and develop a diversified portfolio of business banking clients
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and key stakeholders
n
Identify opportunities to provide tailored lending and banking solutions
n
Achieve business development and portfolio growth targets
n
Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate opportunities and challenges
n
Develop a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
n




Work collaboratively with specialist product and service teams to deliver holistic solutions
n
Represent the organisation within the local business community and build a solid market presence
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Significant experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking relationship management
n
Strong business development and relationship-building capabilities
n
Demonstrated experience managing complex lending transactions
n
Knowledge of transactional banking solutions is highly regarded
n
A customer-centric mindset and passion for delivering exceptional outcomes
n
Strong commercial acumen and credit analysis skills
n
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and networking abilities
n
The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
n
Previous experience or established networks within the local Queensland market will be highly regarded
