We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Services Accountant / Manager to join our Padstow office. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with Partners, manage your own client portfolio and further develop your technical and advisory skills in a supportive professional environment.
n
The Opportunity
n
Reporting to the Partners, you will manage a portfolio of clients and be responsible for delivering high‐quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services.
n
This position is suited to someone who enjoys working closely with clients, takes pride in producing quality work and is looking to progress their career within public practice.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Managing a portfolio of business clients across a range of industries
n
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
n
Providing taxation and business advisory services
n
Assisting clients with business structures and tax planning
n
Advising on companies, trusts, partnerships and individual taxation matters
n
Preparing management reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts where required
n
Liaising with clients,



the ATO and other professional advisers
n
Reviewing work completed by junior team members
n
Assisting with mentoring and developing junior staff
n
Managing client deadlines and workflow efficiently
n
Building and maintaining strong professional client relationships
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
n
At least 3 years' Australian public practice experience
n
CPA or CA qualified, or currently completing your qualification
n
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and business services
n
Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns
n
Sound knowledge of companies, trusts, partnerships and individual taxation
n
Strong communication and client relationship skills
n
Good organisational and time management skills
n
Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar
n
A professional, proactive and team‐oriented approach
n
