Located in Macquarie Park with onsite parking and excellent public transport access, the business offers a hybrid working model following initial training (2 days in the office and 3 days working from home).

The Opportunity
n
Reporting to the Collections Team Leader, you will manage an early arrears portfolio of asset finance accounts up to 30 days past due. This is a quick-paced collections environment where you'll work with customers to achieve positive outcomes while meeting service and compliance standards.

You will be responsible for the following duties:
n
n
Managing an early arrears portfolio (up to 30 days past due)
n
Conducting inbound and outbound collections calls
n
Negotiating payment arrangements and resolving overdue accounts
n
Assessing customer circumstances and identifying appropriate repayment solutions
n
Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer enquiries
n
Maintaining accurate records and complying with internal policies and regulatory requirements
n
Achieving individual collections and quality KPIs
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas:
n
n
Previous experience working in a collections, arrears or recoveries environment
n
Exposure to asset finance, banking or financial services will be highly regarded
n
Confidence managing difficult conversations while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach
n
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
n
The ability to work in a KPI-driven workplace
n
Immediate availability or the ability to commence at short notice
n
