Location: Camden

Salary: £14.59 an hour

Hours: 39 hours weekly

Responsibilities
n
n
Driving any vehicle supplied by Veolia, having received the relevant training.
n
Carry out and complete daily vehicle checks and daily defect books as instructed.
n
Be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and report any defects to the Supervisor or Manager immediately.
n
Ensure that all loads are protected and secure by using sheeting systems provided as well as any fall arrest systems to get up, down and on top of the trailers.
n
Report any accidents or incidents that occur during the shift immediately to the Supervisor or Manager and ensure that the relevant accident/incident report is duly completed and submitted for investigation.
n
Ensure that all road traffic rules and regulations are adhered to at all times and that all parking restrictions are observed.
n
Once driving duties are completed assist with any other duties as directed.
n
Ensure the correct completion and submission of tachograph uploads as per the company policy and procedures.
n

Qualifications

Essential:n n
Class 1 licence
n
Class C & E licence
n
Time management
n
Ability to work in a team or alone
n
n
Desirable:n
n
Previous waste industry experience
n
n
n
