About the Organisation

Our client is a large, values-led organisation with a significant national workforce. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workplace Relations Manager to lead workplace relations across a complex organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting into the People & Culture leadership team, you'll lead a high-performing Workplace Relations team while partnering with senior leaders across the organisation to manage complex employee relations matters and provide commercially sound workplace relations advice.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading and mentoring a high-performing Workplace Relations team.
n
Managing complex employee relations matters and providing expert advice to leaders.
n
Supporting organisational change initiatives and workforce projects.
n
Coaching leaders to build confidence and capability in managing people matters.
n
Managing employment risks and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
n
Developing and improving workplace policies, processes and practices.
n
Identifying trends and recommending proactive people solutions.
n
n
About You
n
n
Extensive experience in Workplace or Employee Relations within a large, complex organisation.
n
Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work.
n
Proven experience leading complex workplace investigations and case management.
n
Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
n
Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
n
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Employment Relations, Law or a related discipline.
n
