Junior Storeperson
Salary Range: Negotiable Based on Experience
GHS Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Junior Storeperson to join our team, based permanently in Geraldton, Western Australia.
This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in the mining, construction, or industrial services industry.
Working alongside our experienced Storeperson, you will assist with the management of tools, equipment, vehicles, and workshop operations while receiving ongoing training and development.
No previous experience is required – we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Purpose of the Position
The Junior Storeperson is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the workshop and stores department.
This role will assist with tooling and equipment management, vehicle preparation, deliveries, stock control, and general workshop duties while learning valuable industry skills and gaining nationally recognised licences and qualifications.




You will work closely with the Storeperson, workshop personnel, and project teams to ensure equipment and materials are available, maintained, and ready for operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the management and organisation of workshop tools and equipment
Prepare tools, equipment, and vehicles for project and site requirements
Complete local deliveries and collections of parts, materials, and equipment
Assist with stock control, inventory management, and stores organisation
Maintain workshop equipment and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition
Assist with inspections and maintenance of vehicles and tooling
Support workshop tradespeople and operational personnel as required
Learn and assist with testing and tagging of electrical equipment
Learn and assist with fire extinguisher inspections and servicing
Follow company safety procedures and participate in training and development opportunities

You Will Ideally Have
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Good communication and interpersonal skills




Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Good organisational and time management skills
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to take direction and learn new tasks
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Requirements
Current C Class Driver's Licence (preferred)
Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol testing
