Veterinarian Opportunity – Hawthorn Vet (South Australia)
We are looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our close-knit and friendly team at Hawthorn Vet!

Our facilities include:
Digital radiography (including dental x-ray)
Ultrasound
IDEXX in-house pathology
Capability for a wide range of procedures, including orthopaedics (e.g. TPLO) and soft tissue surgery

The Role
This is a varied and engaging role with a mix of clinical responsibilities, including:
Consultations
Surgery (soft tissue and orthopaedics if desired)
Dentistry
Diagnostic procedures and imaging
Ongoing care of hospitalised patients
Clinic hours:
Weekdays: 9:00am – 6:30pm
Saturdays: 8:30am – 1:00pm (1 in 4 rotation)
No after-hours or on-call work (all emergency cases are referred)
We primarily see dogs and cats, with occasional
exotics and local wildlife cases

What We're Looking For
BVSc (or equivalent) and eligible for registration in South Australia
Minimum of
2 years' practical experience
Confidence in managing a
mixed medical and surgical caseload
Strong commitment to
high standards of patient care
Ability to manage caseloads independently
Excellent
communication and client relationship skills
