About The Opportunity
n
Due to continued growth for our major LGA grounds contract, Programmed are looking for Gardeners to join our Epping team.
n
This exciting opportunity offers a range of roles to suit different experience levels, from unqualified labourers looking to start a career in the industry, to experienced gardeners ready for a new challenge, and team leaders who are passionate about mentoring others and delivering high-quality service.
n
These are permanent, full-time positions offering long-term stability, career progression, and the chance to work in some of the State's most diverse and scenic outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding.
n
Undertake all horticultural activities, including formative pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs.
n
Implement mulching and planting programs.
n
Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment.
n
Report all assets using technology at each scheduled maintenance visit.
n
Ensure sites are maintained and presented to a high standard.
n




Comply with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures.
n
Operate a range of commercial out-front and zero-turn mowers and other small plant equipment.
n

About You
n

A genuine interest in horticulture or landscape maintenance.
n
Relevant experience (though not essential to all roles).
n
A current driver's license and white card.
n
A chemical certificate (desirable).

A professional approach to the workplace.

The ability to execute work to a high standard.

A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems.
