We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. Working alongside our specialist clinical team, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional care to both elective and trauma patients in a fast-paced private practice environment, as well as assisting in theatres.

About the Role
n
You will work closely with our clinical team, running busy outpatient clinics in parallel with our consultant orthopaedic surgeon as well as providing independent wound and post-operative care, both in person and via telehealth.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Running parallel outpatient clinics for elective and trauma patients
n
Inpatient follow up and assessment of patients on the ward post op
n
Post-operative wound assessment and management
n
Patient education and pre and post-operative follow-up both in person and via telehelath
n
Clinical documentation and coordination of patient care
n




Working collaboratively with our administrative and clinical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience
n
Surgical assisting in theatres
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Is a current AHPRA Nurse Practitioner
n
Has previous orthopaedic experience (highly desirable)
n
Is confident working independently and making sound clinical decisions
n
Thrives in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment
n
Has exceptional communication and organisational skills
n
Is compassionate, professional and patient-focused
n
Works well within a close-knit multidisciplinary team
n
Is adaptable, proactive and enjoys taking ownership of their role
n
