Job Description

I am working an exclusive role for a privately owned property developer in Melbourne that is on a trajectory of growth. They are looking for a commercially minded FP&A; Analyst to support strategic financial decision-making and enhance planning & reporting processes across the group. This newly created role will offer an chance to be involved with continuous process improvements, growth strategies and exposure to high-level stakeholder engagement and will play an key part in supporting and enhancing these frameworks.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparation of monthly management reporting, including consolidated P&L;, balance sheet and cashflow analysis across the Group (6+ revenue streams)
n
Lead the budgeting & forecasting process for all entities.
n
Analyse financial performance and explain key drivers through written reports.
n
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and incorporate AI tools into reporting.
n




Analyse sales data to identify trends and performance insights.
n
Build and improve Excel-based financial models and reporting tools.
n
Conduct ad hoc analysis supporting operational and strategic projects.
n
Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes, systems and models.
n
Collaborate with finance, GMs, sales and property & development teams to interpret business drivers.

About You:

n

You will be CA or CPA qualified and have strong financial modelling capability and advanced Excel skills. Experience using Power BI to build dashboards is essential; as is a solid understanding of financial statements including P&L;, balance sheet and cashflow reporting and a keen interest in AI and automation.
