Sharp & Carter are partnering with a market-leading organisation embarking on a significant business transformation following a recent acquisition. As the business establishes itself as a standalone operation, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to lead procurement, commercial contracting and vendor governance across a large-scale technology transition.

This is a rare opportunity to build procurement processes from the ground up while influencing strategic technology decisions across software, cloud, infrastructure and managed services.

The Opportunity
n
Reporting into a senior finance leader, you'll work closely with Technology, Finance, Legal and the Transformation Office to deliver commercial outcomes that support one of the organisation's highest priority strategic initiatives.
n
You will take ownership of end-to-end IT procurement while establishing governance frameworks, supplier management processes and commercial best practice that will support the business well beyond the transformation.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead end-to-end sourcing activities across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecommunications and managed services
n
Negotiate complex technology contracts and commercial agreements
n
Develop and implement fit-for-purpose procurement policies, processes and governance
n
Partner with technology and business leaders to provide commercial procurement advice
n
Manage supplier onboarding, vendor evaluations and due diligence
n
Oversee contract renewals, supplier performance, SLAs and commercial risk
n
Monitor technology spend and identify cost savings and commercial efficiencies
n
Work collaboratively with Legal to ensure appropriate contractual protections are in place
n
Provide reporting and insights to senior stakeholders throughout the transformation program
n

About You
n
You'll be an experienced IT procurement qualified who enjoys building capability and influencing stakeholders across complex environments.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Proven experience managing end-to-end IT procurement and strategic sourcing activities
n
Strong commercial negotiation experience across software licensing, SaaS, cloud and technology services
n
Experience developing procurement processes and embedding governance frameworks
n
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
n
Knowledge of vendor management, supplier governance and contract lifecycle management
n
Experience supporting large transformation or project environments will be highly regarded
n
