We have a thrilling opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 5 Adult Dietitian to join our dynamic team in Croydon. This full-time role offers a chance to work in an acute dietetics setting, servicing both inpatient wards and outpatient clinics. Offering a competitive pay rate of up to £***** per hour, this contract is set for three months with the possibility of extension. Your work week will consist of sociable working hours, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:0. What you will do:
n

Provide a specialist dietetic service to medical and care of the elderly wards.
n
Deliver general adult outpatient clinics and IBS group education sessions.
n




Formulate, deliver and review individual dietetic treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
n
Undertake nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based nutritional support to patients.
n
Participate actively in MDT meetings and contribute to effective discharge planning.
n
Offer nutritional advice and guidance to patients, carers, and clinicians.
n
Support patients who are receiving artificial nutritional support.
n
Engage in audits, service development, and quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery.
n

Requirements:
n
n
HCPC Registration as a Registered Dietitian.
n
NHS experience with a focus on acute dietetics.
n
Experience working on inpatient wards and in acute and primary care environments.
n
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
n
Evidence of continuing professional development.
n
Experience delivering group education sessions.
n
Experience within care of the elderly services.
n
Experience supporting patients requiring nutritional support.
n
