We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused
Operations Coordinator
to join our team on a
12-month parental leave contract
.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering outstanding service while coordinating equipment, logistics and operational activities.
You'll enjoy variety in your role including:
Coordinating end-to-end mobilisation of shutdown crews, including onboarding, approvals and site compliance
Managing medicals, training, inductions and compliance documentation to ensure workforce readiness
Coordinating travel, accommodation, transport and site access requirements
Scheduling and coordinating hire equipment, logistics and customer requirements
Providing exceptional customer service and advice on equipment solutions
Raising and managing purchase orders, invoices, timesheets and related administration
Maintaining workforce and operational data, reporting and compliance records
Supporting contract delivery through document control and administrative coordination
Assisting with equipment servicing schedules, audits and HSEQ requirements
Building strong customer relationships while maintaining a Safety First culture at all times.

What you'll bring to the role
Experience within the equipment hire, construction, industrial or related industry
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to coordinate equipment, logistics and operational activities in a busy environment
Sound administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Hands‐on knowledge of small plant equipment and general mechanical aptitude
An understanding of major construction projects and site requirements
Ability to work collaboratively with customers, contractors and internal teams
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
Commitment to safety and compliance in everything you do
