SYNC Recruitment are currently partnering with a local early childhood provider to recruit an experienced Centre Manager for a medium sized, family owned Service in Melbournes inner Northern Suburbs.

About the Role

n

As Centre Director, you will:

n

n
Lead the overall operations of the Centre, ensuring a protected, engaging, and high-quality learning workplace
n
Support and mentor a team of educators and room leaders across all age groups
n
Oversee compliance, staffing, enrolments, and budgeting with the support of an Area Manager
n
Mitigate risks and regularly review strategies for operational improvement
n
Create community partnerships and local presence
n
Deliver excellent service and build solid relationships with families
n

n

You Will Bring

n

n
Ideally 3+ years in a Centre Management role
n
Experience opening or leading a new centre from start-up (preferable, not essential)
n




Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
n
A strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and regulatory compliance
n
A desire to learn about an International Curriculum being implemented in Australia
n
Proven experience in recruitment and building a team from scratch – as well as a robust focus on staff morale and retention
n
A collaborative leadership style that enhances partnerships, supports growth and utilises everyone's strengths
n
Experience & confidence in developing robust connections in the local community
n
