Operator
We are looking for an experienced Operator to join our recycling operations team.
Reporting to the Yard Manager, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of our busy site, operating a range of mobile equipment while helping to process and recycle valuable materials.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a supportive team.

What you'll be doing:
Operating forklifts and any other mobile plant safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading trucks, trailers and skip bins.
Sorting, grading and processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Assisting with the receival, processing and dispatch of recyclable materials.
Maintaining a clean, organised and secure work environment.
Following health, safety, environmental and operational procedures.
Identifying and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions.




Supporting general yard operations and site activities as required.
Delivering outstanding customer service to drivers, suppliers and customers.
What you'll bring:
Current Forklift Licence and practical operating experience.
Previous experience operating heavy mobile plant and equipment.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Team-focused approach with a willingness to help wherever needed.
Knowledge of metal grading and recycling processes (desirable but not essential).
