The Opportunity
n
As a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, you'll join a collaborative team providing comprehensive obstetric and gynaecology services across a diverse regional population.
n
You'll have the opportunity to:
n
n
Manage a broad mix of obstetric and gynaecology presentations, from routine care through to complex pregnancies and advanced gynaecological surgery.
n
Lead antenatal, postnatal and specialist outpatient clinics.
n
Perform operative gynaecological procedures and surgery.
n
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care.
n
Coordinate care for women with complex pregnancies requiring input from multiple specialties.
n
Play an integral role in maintaining high clinical standards and improving Women's Health services.
n

Supervise and mentor Registrars, JMOs and medical students.
n
Contribute to the ongoing development of Women's Health services.
n
Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance and risk management initiatives.

Assist with departmental policies and service development.

What We're Looking For
n
To qualify, you must meet one of the following:
n
n
Hold or be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
n
Hold or soon to hold Fellowship with RANZCOG.
n
IMGs ready to submit their specialist assessment or already assessed as substantially comparable.
n
Onshore with at least 12 months of recent Australian experience.
