About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Overhead Crane Operator to join a leading steel manufacturing company.

n

Day Shift $38.01

n

Afternoon Shift $43.71

n

In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating overhead cranes to move steel products and materials throughout the warehouse and production facility while supporting manufacturing and dispatch operations.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Operate overhead (bridge/gantry) cranes safely and efficiently.
n
Load, unload, and transport steel products, bundles, and materials.
n
Assist with production, warehouse, and dispatch activities.
n
Conduct pre-start checks and routine equipment inspections.
n
Read and interpret production schedules and work orders.
n
Ensure accurate handling and storage of steel products.
n
Work closely with production and logistics teams to meet daily targets.
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
n




Follow all WHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or steel workplace.
n
Forklift (LF) Licence is advantageous.
n
Experience handling long, heavy, or oversized steel products.
n
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.
n
Reliable with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
n
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
n
