About the role
This Senior Financial Insights Analyst position is a backfill prospect within the Financial Sustainability team, reporting to the Director of Planning & Performance. The role requires a smooth transition with a one-week handover to ensure continuity in reporting, dashboard management, and workforce analytics.
Key responsibilities
Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards
Support the rollout of dashboards across the organisation
Analyse workforce and payroll-related data
Identify trends in labour spend and overtime
Deliver recurring reporting packs and trend analysis
Investigate data quality issues and inconsistencies
Present findings to senior leadership and translate technical outputs into business recommendations.
Skills & experience
Proven experience in financial analysis,
particularly in payroll reporting and workforce analytics
Robust capability in maintaining Power BI dashboards and delivering actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to work with messy and incomplete datasets, providing meaningful outputs.
