About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E&I; Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a project at Cape Lambert. This is a FIFO opportunity offering an 8:6 roster, working alongside project and construction teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate and manage project implementation activities on site.
n
Oversee multiple contractors and site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
n
Support Construction Leads and Project Engineers with contractor performance, reporting, cost, quality, schedule, and safety outcomes.
n
Ensure all construction activities comply with site standards, policies, HSEQ requirements, and management systems.
n
Monitor project progress, identify potential schedule impacts, and implement mitigation strategies.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout project delivery.
n
Support QA/QC activities, including inspections, verification processes, and compliance with specifications.
n
Assist in developing punch lists and preparing for commissioning activities.
n
Liaise with contractors and operations teams during commissioning and handover phases.
n
Verify contractor timesheets and daily work records.
n
Prepare daily site reports, handover notes, and project updates.
n




Participate in operational and shutdown coordination meetings as required.

About You
n
n
Demonstrated experience coordinating construction or capital projects within mining, resources, or heavy industrial environments.
n
Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
Experience managing multidisciplinary works including electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, structural, civil, piping, and building projects.
n
Exposure to brownfield construction environments.
n
Sound understanding of project delivery, contractor management, and site coordination.
n
A strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
n
Previous experience with Rio Tinto project delivery systems and processes will be highly regarded.
n
