Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Communication Systems Engineer to join a Sydney-based technology team supporting critical communication infrastructure across multiple locations.

This role will be responsible for the design, management and support of enterprise networks, telephony systems, nurse call platforms and carer communication technologies.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, configure and support wired and wireless network infrastructure.
n
Manage switching, routing, wireless, WAN connectivity and network security.
n
Support enterprise telephony systems, carriers and communication devices.
n
Support nurse call systems and carer communication technologies.
n
Troubleshoot and resolve complex communication and network issues.
n
Lead infrastructure upgrades and technical implementation projects.
n
Manage technology vendors and service providers.
n
Monitor system performance, availability and security.
n
Maintain network documentation, system records and technical standards.
n

About You
n
You will have:
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Network Engineer,



Communications Engineer or similar role.
n
Robust hands-on experience with Juniper networking technologies.
n
Experience designing and supporting enterprise wired and wireless networks.
n
Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, routing, switching, VPNs and network security.
n
Experience with enterprise telephony and carrier services.
n
Experience supporting critical communication, healthcare or nurse call systems.
n
n
n
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
n
n
Experience with JNCIA/JNCIS, nurse call systems, healthcare or aged care environments, Whistle carer communications or cloud-managed networking platforms will be highly regarded.
