The opportunity
Working closely with Stewart Ebbott, we have an prospect to join our highly regarded & rapidly growing Brisbane Corporate & Commercial practice. We advise clients from start-ups and private businesses to ASX-listed entities and large unlisted public companies, with a focus on Food and Agribusiness, Health, Construction & Logistics.
You'll be busy with
Mergers and acquisitions (M&A;)
Structuring and corporate restructures
Commercial contract matters
Scoping, planning and conducting due diligence
Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents (e.g. sale and purchase agreements, disclosure materials)
Managing the completion process
To succeed in this role, ideally, you'll have
5+ years PAE within a reputable corporate practice
Excellent analytical and communication skills to deliver technically and commercially astute advice
Proven experience in preparing and negotiating transaction documents and commercial contracts,



advising on governance agreements and drafting corporate head office advice
Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
Well-developed project and relationship management ability
The skills to work autonomously and mentor junior colleagues and allocate resources to ensure effective utilisation of the team
