Salary: $82,000-$90,000 pa, based on a 38hr week. Salary will be negotiated depending on qualifications, experience and overall suitability. Higher salary packages may be available for agreed 40 or extended-hour arrangements.

About the Role
n




Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will help keep our fleet safe, reliable and ready for service.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Mechanical diagnostics and fault-finding
n
Heavy vehicle repairs and defect rectification
n
Completing maintenance and compliance records
n
Maintaining a safe and organised workshop
n
Assisting with breakdowns and operational requirements when needed
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
n
Experience maintaining trucks, buses or other heavy vehicles
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
A commitment to safety and reliable workmanship
n
A current driver licence, with MR or higher regarded favourably
n
